Lash curls (C, D, L)
Curl grades of extensions – they shape the look and must suit the eyelid type.
Extensions come in various curls named after letters. J and B are very soft, C is the popular all-rounder, D opens the eye strongly, and L and L+ have a straight base with an angled lift.
Why the choice is a professional one:
On hooded eyes, too strong a curl can make lashes hit the lid crease so the result appears to point downward. L curls are often the better option here because they lift the lash only beyond the crease.
Mixing:
Experienced stylists mix curls within one set – softer at the inner corner, stronger in the middle, for example. That creates a harmonious arc rather than a rigid line.
