Vitamin C serum
An antioxidant serum for more radiance and a more even complexion.
Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant in the skin, neutralising free radicals. Cosmetically it is used mainly to make the complexion look more even and fresher.
Formulation is decisive:
Pure ascorbic acid is effective but unstable: it oxidises in light and air and then turns brownish – a sign the product is losing potency. Dark, airtight packaging is not marketing but a necessity.
How to use:
In the morning after cleansing, before moisturiser and sun protection. Vitamin C and sunscreen complement each other well. Sensitive skin is better off starting with more stable derivatives at low concentration.
