Blemish-prone skin

Blackheads, spots and clogged pores – treatable cosmetically, distinct from medical acne.

Blemish-prone skin occurs when excess sebum and dead skin cells clog the pores. Bacteria can join in, and the area becomes inflamed.

What is possible in the studio:

A cosmetic treatment includes thorough cleansing, enzyme or fruit acid peels, professional extraction under hygienic conditions and calming ingredients such as niacinamide or zinc, plus honest advice on home care.

Where cosmetics end:

Pronounced, inflammatory or scarring acne is a medical condition and belongs in dermatological care. Reputable studios work alongside that and promise no cure – which is not only professionally correct but legally required.
