Sulphate-free shampoo

A mildly cleansing shampoo without harsh surfactants – gentler on colour and scalp.

Sulphates such as SLS are highly effective cleansing agents. They remove grease reliably but can also wash out colour pigment and irritate sensitive scalps. Sulphate-free shampoos use milder surfactants.

Who benefits:

Sulphate-free care is especially recommended after colouring, bleaching and keratin treatments because it makes the result last longer. It is also often the more comfortable choice for dry or irritated scalps.

Realistic expectation:

Sulphate-free shampoos lather less – that is normal and not a sign of poor cleansing. With heavy product build-up, an occasional clarifying shampoo can still make sense.
