Sugaring
Hair removal with sugar paste – with the growth direction, often felt to be gentler.
In sugaring, a paste of sugar, water and lemon is worked in by hand and flicked off with the direction of growth. Fewer hairs break off, and many find the method gentler than waxing.
Difference to waxing:
The paste is water-soluble, barely sticks to skin and needs no fabric strips. Results last a comparable two to four weeks. Which method suits you depends on skin, hair structure and personal preference – many studios offer both.
