Niacinamide

A versatile ingredient (vitamin B3) – well tolerated, works on pores, redness and the barrier.

Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 and one of the most versatile cosmetic ingredients. It supports the skin barrier, can refine the appearance of pores and visually reduce redness.

Why it is so popular:

It is remarkably well tolerated and combines with almost anything – including hyaluronic acid, retinol and vitamin C. The once-common warning against combining it with vitamin C is now considered outdated.

Concentration:

Five percent is regarded as the proven range. Considerably higher concentrations rarely add benefit and can trigger redness on sensitive skin.
