Cuticle care
Care of the cuticle area – groomed cuticles are the basis of any nail design.
The cuticle protects the junction between skin and nail plate from germs. It is therefore cared for and pushed back, not ruthlessly removed.
Working correctly:
Softening or a cuticle remover, gentle pushing back with a rosewood stick or pusher, and only the dead tissue (pterygium) is removed. Cutting living cuticle leads to thickening, tearing and inflammation.
At home:
Daily cuticle oil is the most effective and cheapest measure there is: it keeps cuticle and nail plate supple, prevents tearing and makes every enhancement look good for longer.
