Hair oil
A conditioning oil for shine, suppleness and less frizz – mainly through the lengths.
Hair oils coat the fibre, smooth the cuticle and make hair look shinier and calmer. Some oils also penetrate and reduce swelling during washing.
Not all oils are equal:
Coconut and avocado oil can penetrate the fibre; jojoba and argan oil act more on the surface. Silicone serums smooth instantly but do not condition in the strict sense – both have their place.
Dosage:
Less is more: warm one or two drops between the palms and work only through lengths and ends. At the roots, oil weighs hair down and makes it look greasy quickly.
