Brows

Brow shapes

From arched to straight – the shape strongly changes facial expression.

Brows frame the face and shape expression more than almost any other detail. Common shapes are the arched brow with a distinct peak, the straight brow, the softly rising and the rounded shape.

Shape follows face:

A high, pointed arch quickly reads as stern or surprised. A straight brow makes round faces look longer; a soft arch opens the eyes. What always matters is working with the natural growth rather than against it.

Less is more:

Removing too much happens fast, regrowth takes months – and after years of plucking some hairs never return. Professional brow design therefore starts with mapping and deliberately removes little.
