Root touch-up

Re-colouring the grown-out roots so the colour stays even.

A root touch-up colours only the regrowth, not the full length of the hair. That keeps the colour even, protects lengths and ends, and costs less than a full colour.

Frequency:

Depending on hair growth and the contrast between natural and coloured hair, the typical interval is four to eight weeks. Grey regrowth or dark colours show the line sooner than soft techniques like balayage.
